  While the minor word formation processes include:

• Clipping
• Acronyms
• Borrowing
• Reduplicative

AFFIXATION

 Is the process og word formation where by an offix (bound morpheme) is added to base change of word clause

   An Affixis is usually a bound morpheme which is added to the root or base (ie is a unit that is added to the base , which change the meaning ot function of word).
